Alberta Union of Provincial Employees announces "SLOWPITCH TOURNAMENT"
VEGREVILLE, ALBERTA
JUNE 5-6, 2010
$150.00 entry fee per team
(teams are encourages to have 4 AUPE members or Staff per team)
Registrations must be received at AUPE headquarters by no later than May 15, 2010.
All proceeds will go to a charitable organization.
Registration Forms will be available online and at AUPE Regional Offices.
MAXIMUM 16 TEAMS
(minimum 8 players per team)
Teams will be admitted on a first come/first served basis. This is a mixed tourament with no male/female requirements.
NOTE:
*Teams with 5 or more "YOUNG ACTIVISTS" (30 years or under) playing
will be entered into a special draw.
* One member/team will be required to be an umpire for the following game
*Teams will be responsible for their own equipment
(bats, helmets, gloves, balls)
*Camping facilities available
ENTERTAINMENT:
Evening entertainment will be held on Saturday June 05, cash bar and late lunch. Tickets for players will be included with registration fee, anyone else wishing to attend will be $10.00 per person.
TOURNAMENT WILL GO RAIN OR SHINE
(alternative activities planned in arena if rained out)
